Very disappointed in cheap elastic straps. Bralette is unwearable.I’m very disappointed with my order. I wear a 36 DD and used their size guide to find my size. I also measured myself again just to be extra sure, because it’s a lot more money than I’m used to spending on things I can’t return. And I thought I’d be safe since all the various straps are adjustable. When it arrived I found out that even with every single strap as tight as possible, it was still loose. The adjustable straps are also made of very cheap material that’s extra thin and stretchy. When you readjust them, the little plastic pieces don’t hold in place and slide easily. So it loosens up even as I’m putting the bralette on. Then even after I retighten them, they won’t hold. The cups are the right size and would be wonderful if made with better straps that actually held. Unfortunately all the straps are made of thin, stretchy, cheap feeling elastic. I wouldn’t ever wear this item because there’s no hold at all. The velvet has no give at all (which is totally fine, that’s what I expected from velvet), but then trying to cover DD boobs with that and the only thing to support me is loose elastic… every moment I feel like my boobs are gonna pop out the bottom. I’m really bummed about it, and besides attempting to sew the straps down or add better quality straps, I’m prob just gonna try to resell it on Poshmark or something.
I know I maybe should have gotten something from the Made To Order section, but I’ve never had an issue with ordering bras or bralettes online before.
It’s a gorgeous item but I can’t begin to explain how deeply disappointed I was once it arrived and I realized I had spent $80 on something I either need to alter or resell. I just wanted that gorgeous bralette!
